 8-4-2008  CE ANNOUNCEMENT:
At the August 4, 2008 NNA Board of Directors meeting, it was determined that effective January 1, 2009, NNA will no longer be reviewing individual CNE applications for peer reviewed contact hours.  In order to be sure all applications have been reviewed by December 31, 2008, the last day NNA will accept individual CNE applications will be Friday, October 31, 2008. Current and prior applicants to NNA will be assisted in the transition with referrals to other ANCC accredited approvers. A list of ANCC accredited approvers for contact hours is available by
clicking here.  You can then click on the agency name that you want to check on their ce approval application information. This will take you to the ANCC listing for that agency, and then you will need to click on the agency web-page link to go to that site.  Another option is to contact one of the NNA approved provider units (go to Provider Unit link under the Education tab, then click on the List of Approved Providers to see if they would be willing to co-provide the activity with you).

Concerning provider units, NNA will continue to review applications for new provider units and for current provider re-approval status. Questions regarding this change may be directed to the NNA office at 402-475-3859 or Executive@NebraskaNurses.org.
