NIGHTINGALE TRIBUTE
To honor nurses at the end of life . . .

In the fall of 2004, the NNA House of Delegates (statewide representatives) adopted the “Nightingale Tribute” to honor nurse colleagues who have passed away in the last year. Each nurse’s name is read aloud to the Assembly, along with the Tribute Reading. 

The Tribute Reading may also be included as part of the nurse's funeral or memorial service.  Please feel free to use the Tribute as appropriate for your loved one.
